Victoria has valuable energy resources,
and Victorian communities should benefit
from responsible development of those resources.
We are advocating for Victorian gas resources
to support Victorian households, businesses,
jobs and energy security.
Our energy resources should deliver a fair return
to the communities where they are produced.
Tarneit is growing rapidly, but our roads and
intersections are struggling to keep pace.
For many residents, getting in and out of Tarneit
and connecting with surrounding suburbs has become
a daily challenge.
Major road improvements and duplication projects
across the Wyndham growth corridor need clear
priorities, funding and delivery timelines.
This includes progressing important road upgrades
such as Ballan Road, Dohertys Road,
Sayers Road, Boundary Road and Tarneit Road
as population and traffic continue to grow.
We are advocating for:
Tarneit's growth must be matched by road capacity and infrastructure investment.
Many Tarneit residents are being left with limited
public transport options, with some people having to
walk around 30 minutes just to reach a bus or train.
Tarneit's rapidly growing communities need reliable
local bus services that connect neighbourhoods with
train stations, schools, shopping centres and local
services.
We are calling for more frequent buses, better
local connections and public transport that is
accessible to the communities it serves.
Tarneit is growing rapidly, but our train
services must keep pace with the growing
number of commuters.
We are calling for more frequent and reliable
train services, greater capacity and better
public transport planning for Tarneit's
growing community.
Tarneit's growth deserves a public transport
system that can keep up.
Tarneit deserves to be a safe place to live,
work and raise a family.
We are listening to residents about concerns
around crime, community safety, lighting and
public spaces.
We are advocating for stronger community safety
measures, better lighting, appropriate CCTV and
more visible policing where it is needed.
