As part of the current list of high-priority projects, urban congestion projects are for all major Australian cities, and when we consider the current and forecast growth in urban population, there is a need for more projects. We see there is a need to focus on other means of transport infrastructure development in rail, air, seaports as logistics and supply chain will be a key force in economic growth which will make Australia a key player in the region.A metro city rail system must be well integrated with other public transport systems of national connectivity to maintain standards and be competitive. There is a need for more government involvement for regional and state development of roads and rail system so that upcoming communities are fast-growing communities with easy access to infrastructure. Local roads must be funded at the top of the list once they are identified as potential growth areas, so they can share the load with state and local bodies.
To maintain standards and compete, the metro city rail transport should be well integrated with other public transport of national connectivity. There is a need to increase government involvement for state and inner development of roads & rail network so that upcoming communities are fast-growing communities that have easy connectivity. Funding for local roads should have moved up in top priority list once identified as potential growth areas and then can share the load with state and local bodies.
Infrastructural projects are vital for economic growth and are usually planned based on the country's future needs and while keeping its long-term economic prospects in mind. However, given the current conditions, it is necessary to redefine the process of priority to shape the future of states and nations.
With an eye on both current and future challenges, United People's Party is dedicated to infrastructure reforms. Together, we must confront the government about our current needs and push forward for future infrastructure to achieve growth. It will be very helpful to support us in the upcoming election so that the reforms are advocated and carried out.
